The Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport is the newest luxury hotel in the City of Boston, located in the center of the bustling Seaport District. The AAA Four Diamond rated hotel boasts 1,054 finely appointed guestrooms with 52 suites, seven delectable dining experiences, a scenic rooftop pool, and a luxury Breve Spa, and more than 100,000 square feet of meeting and event space allowing to provide each guest a unique and memorable experience. The Painter is responsible for painting, plastering, and wallpapering public areas to ensure a safe, efficient, well-maintained hotel environment. Responsibilities
Maintains (paint, wallpaper, plaster, etc.) all public areas and guest rooms on an on-going basis. Keep the hotel decor in good condition. Clean all work areas after completing job. Fill out Daily Work form. Have a thorough understanding of Omni's fire alarm procedures and other emergencies. Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations. Qualifications
The successful candidate must have 5 years of previous experience as a commercial painter. Must have experience with wallpaper, venetian finish, faux finish. Must have flexible availability to include weekends, nights and holidays. Ability to work in the interior and exterior of the hotel and work with paints, plaster, and other painting materials. Attention to detail is important. Must interact with guests, associates, and clients in a professional manner. Must have 3 years prior guest service experience required, preferably in hotels. Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and performance. Must be able to work outside and may be subject to all weather conditions and varying levels of cold, heat, humidity, precipitation, wind, noise, and vibration. Perks and Benefits
