We are seeking a dedicated Heat Treat Helper to join our operations team. This role is crucial to our heat treat process, assisting in applications for titanium, nickel-based alloys, stainless, and alloy steels. The position requires travel to various sites within California and offers opportunities to work across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. Responsibilities: Move parts on and off pallets. Read and interpret shop order instructions, specifications, and other written and verbal instructions. Load and unload furnaces. Place workpieces into heating furnaces for specified periods. Learn to perform hardness inspection and read conversion table (ASTM E140). Prepare load couples. Grind parts as needed. Maintain an understanding and knowledge of company procedures and work instructions. Keep a safe and organized workstation and adhere to all company policies, safety measures, and procedures. Essential Skills: High school diploma or equivalent GED. Minimum six to twelve months of related experience and/or training. Ability to read and interpret shop orders and specifications. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Comfortable working in a hot production environment. Experience working with a maintenance team. Legally authorized to work in the United States (U.S. Person as defined by ITAR). Why Work Here? Work Environment: The role involves working in a production environment, both inside the department and outside. Opportunities to work on the 3rd shift are available. The environment may be hot, reflecting the nature of heat treat operations. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rancho Cucamonga, California. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
