Key Responsibilities:

Perform composite part repairs, surface prep, and bonded assemblies

Drill, rivet, and fit composite and metal components using hand and power tools

Work with epoxy, resin, foam, fiberglass, and other aerospace-grade materials

Follow work instructions and blueprints to ensure parts meet precise fit and quality standards

Fit parts into molds, fixtures, or assemblies and apply bonding techniques as needed

Deflash, sand, and finish components to tight tolerances

Track material usage and maintain basic production records

Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area

Assist with general shop tasks and support production as needed

Follows company workmanship and quality standards.

Other assigned tasks by management.

Follows all DG safety procedures as per company policies and per the Facility Engineer/Safety Director.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED

At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing or working directly with composites/fiberglass materials

Experience with drilling and riveting, including use of rivet guns and rivet tools

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical instructions

Proficiency with hand and pneumatic tools

Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail

Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 25 lbs

Ability to stand for extended periods and use required PPE (respirators, gloves, goggles, etc.)

Good verbal and written communication skills in English

Reliable attendance with ability to work independently or as part of a team

U.S. person status required in accordance with ITAR (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Protected Individual)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
