PGS Worldwide is actively seeking an
Electro-Mechanical Technician
to support aerospace and defense production operations in
Maple Grove, MN . This
1-year contract-to-hire
role involves hands-on assembly of mechanical and electro-mechanical components, supporting ordnance systems through both production and developmental builds.
The ideal candidate will bring experience working from
engineering drawings, schematics, and detailed instructions
to build and support complex assemblies.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform
assembly operations
on mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electronic subassemblies for ordnance systems Work from
engineering drawings, shop aids, sketches, schematics, and detailed work instructions Assist mechanical engineers with
fabrication, modifications, testing, and development
of components and assemblies Execute both
repetitive and non-repetitive developmental assembly operations Follow
written and verbal work instructions
to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met Support production needs by working
additional hours, including weekends, when required Collaborate with engineers and team members to resolve assembly issues and ensure timely delivery Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to read and interpret
engineering drawings, sketches, and schematics Experience with
electro-mechanical or mechanical assembly
processes Ability to follow
detailed written and verbal instructions Flexibility to work
overtime and weekends
as needed Desired Qualifications:
Prior experience in
aerospace, defense, or ordnance system assembly Familiarity with
developmental build support
(test, fabrication, and modifications) Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
