Description The Multi-Domain Solutions Division at Leidos is excited to announce an opening for a Systems Engineering Specialist. This is an incredible opportunity to leverage your expertise to enhance the Advanced Battle Management System's (ABMS) Digital Infrastructure (DI) Network Manager program. Our mission is to support the Department of Air Force (DAF) in overseeing the design, development, integration, validation, operation, and maintenance of both current and new capabilities within the DI Network. ABMS is a critical modernization initiative for the DAF, serving as the backbone of network-centric battle management in collaboration with all services across the Department of Defense. This initiative contributes to the broader objective known as Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2). Envisioned to allow U.S. forces, alongside allies, to swiftly sense, evaluate, and act on vast data streams, this system ensures we stay one step ahead of adversaries. This role can be primarily performed remotely, but occasional in-person support at our Orlando office is required. Preference will be given to candidates who are within a commutable distance to Orlando. Primary Responsibilities Support a comprehensive digital engineering approach across all phases of the Systems Engineering lifecycle. Develop and maintain the baseline architecture model of current systems, ensuring robust configuration management of the ABMS DI network. Create, maintain, and integrate MBSE-based SysML models, diagrams, and simulations utilizing Cameo Systems Modeler. Facilitate collaboration and information exchange with government and contractor organizations through various working groups, technical interchanges, and formal reviews. Contribute to process development and improvement initiatives. Interface with ABMS performers and assist in integrating components into the larger system-of-systems model. Support the development and management of requirements using a requirements management tool (e.g., DOORS, Cameo). Assist with Risk and Opportunity Management efforts. Help train and onboard developers for DI network features and capabilities. Support testing, integration, verification, validation, and deployment of operational systems. Basic Qualifications Must possess a minimum of a Secret clearance with the capability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance. Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience. Proven knowledge of Systems Engineering modeling tools (e.g., DOORS and Cameo). Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders in complex DoD systems. Demonstrated experience in cross-functional planning, coordination, and the execution of tasks involving system integration activities. Able to work with multidisciplinary teams with varying levels of technical expertise. Familiarity with Cloud and Edge Computing, Networking, Tactical Communications, Data Management, Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, and C4ISR systems integration. Experience with Agile program execution and agile tools (e.g., Jira and Confluence). Expertise in ICAM, Data Distribution, and Architectures. Preferred Qualifications Expertise in computer networking. Experience with Cloud Architecture. Active TS/SCI clearance. Familiarity with JADC2. At Leidos, we seek individuals who aspire to innovate and break the mold. If you are driven, continuously questioning what's next before settling for the status quo, we encourage you to apply.
