As a Field Service Technician within the Grid Technology Services – Substation Upgrades business, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the safe and effective performance of high-voltage substations. Your work includes equipment monitoring, maintenance, repair, and on-site technical support. This role requires extensive travel, non-standard schedules, and close coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
The successful applicant will be on site 3 days per week, working 10-hour shifts, and will be on call 24/7 with a 1–2-hour response time required in the event of an emergency.

Perform and coordinate preventiveand corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on substationequipment.
Ensure compliance with Siemens' andcustomer safety, environmental, and quality standards on-site.
Accurately complete servicereports, time and expense logs, and use digital tools to document work.
Collaborate with customers,internal teams, and third-party contractors to execute service activitieseffectively.
Contribute to continuousimprovement efforts by recommending process or equipment enhancements.
Support project scope planning,workforce coordination, and resource allocation as needed.
What YouBring
High School Diploma or GED
Experience with substationmaintenance, installation, or commissioning is preferred; training isavailable for the right candidate.
OSHA 30 certification andfamiliarity with construction site protocols.
Strong communication,problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office andability to learn digital reporting tools.
Willingness to travel up to 80%based on project requirements.
Excellent knowledge in SAP (orother software/hardware).
