Responsibilities
Use tools to remove and replace parts; perform basic maintenance and repairs.
Change mechanical parts, batteries, spark plugs, filters, and propellers under supervision and independently.
Complete oil changes, fluid exchanges, and other basic maintenance projects.
Clean, buff, and bottom‑paint fiberglass and aluminum boats.
Move, haul, launch, block, and trailer boats under supervision and ultimately independently.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of boats, following safety policies and procedures.
Report missing or low inventory and submit work records, notes, and updates to technicians and managers.
Learn new techniques and proactively identify problems.
Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good repair.
Skills & Knowledge
Mechanical proficiency with common tools; knowledge of two‑stroke and four‑stroke combustion principles.

Basic mechanical and technical skills.
Automotive experience preferred; marine/boat service experience a plus.
Valid clean automobile driver’s license.
New Jersey Boating certificate.
Boating experience of 2 years or greater.
Good health and physical mobility.
Ability to pass a pre‑employment background/drug screen.
Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
Mon‑Fri schedule (approx. 8:30 a‑m to 5:30 p‑m); occasional overtime and Saturday work.
Compensation & Schedule Compensation ranges from $18‑$23 per hour ($40,000‑$50,000 per year). Overtime and incentives are available. Full‑time, year‑round, 40 hours per week with occasional overtime.
