Job Title UI/UX Design Lead
Location Bellevue, WA or Bothell, WA
Duration / Term 6+ months

Roles and Responsibilities
Take ideas and concepts and visualize them so that they are communicated effectively and compellingly for internal leaders, partners, and customers.
Turn visions into concepts and translate those concepts into designs that illustrate simplicity despite the complexity of the system.
Deliver User Experience visions, UI specifications, wireframes, and visual designs.
Function as part of a cross‑functional design team and employ a user‑centric design methodology to develop new and derivative user interface designs for web and mobile applications.
Collaborate effectively with other designers, UI architects, product management, and development teams.
Mentor and support multiple teams and work on multiple moderate to complex projects/tasks.
Lead collaboration with business development, research, and prototyping and product management to define the next generations of business concepts and solutions.
Communicate analysis, recommendations, and potential design solutions verbally and through documentation to the project team and key stakeholders.
Ensure the team stays on top of new trends in usability.
Research best practices in web, desktop, and mobile application design.
Ensure team adherence to standards and processes.
Collect UX metrics to measure and track the impact of design changes on user experience.
Provide training and development for the team in areas of expertise.
Facilitate adherence to project schedules, timeline completion, mandatory compliance trainings, and process standards.
Monitor NPS from customers and link user experience improvement to UX changes.
Mentor junior team members and document best practices.
Assist in tracking progress of projects and maintaining metrics.
Participate in user studies, document user stories, and assist in testing and usability evaluation.
Create UX designs independently and collaborate in brainstorming sessions.
Establish familiarity with customer product branding schemes and compile required documentation for project releases.
