Social media experience and/or a strong understanding of social media channels.
Proven experience in content creation, preferably within the travel, theme park and/or entertainment industries – portfolio and/or samples showcasing your work is required.
Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite and Canva)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to write compelling, social-first content (e.g. X and Threads text-only posts, Instagram/TikTok captions, replies to guest posts)
Ability to switch between different brand voices for Universal Studios Hollywood, Halloween Horror Nights, and Universal Fan Fest Nights.
Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas.
Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently.
Must have experience with Microsoft Office suites.
Familiarity with influencer marketing and partnerships a plus.
Basic graphic design skills are a plus.
Passion for Universal Studios Hollywood, theme parks, and the film and television industry.
Must be comfortable in front of the camera to act as talent in social content or other projects.

Responsibilities Content Creation:
Generate engaging and compelling content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, Threads, and TikTok.
Produce and edit photography and/or videography using editing software such as Adobe Lightroom, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop.
Develop visually appealing graphics to enhance social media posts.
Write short‑form copy for content across multiple channels leveraging our brand voice.
Engage with guests via social media monitoring tools by responding to comments, messages and mentions while building brand advocacy with our passionate theme park community.
Social Media Management:
Support day‑to‑day social content brainstorms, channel management, and publishing across Universal Studios Hollywood’s owned social channels (Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, Threads, etc.)
Assist with social media campaigns and projects, including but not limited to managing projects within Adobe Workfront, meeting and communicating with internal partners, and fulfilling partner requests.
Monitor social media channels for industry trends and competitor activities to optimize content.
Collaboration:
Work closely with social leads, marketing, communications, and internal creative teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels.
Miscellaneous:
Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established USH policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
