Job Description
NorthStar Memorial Group is seeking a Funeral Director / Embalmer to join our team at Memorial Plan San Jose - Ferdinand in Hialeah, FL. Responsibilities
Provide a source of comfort, support, and guidance, to families before, during, and after the loss of a loved one, serving professionally as the director for visitations, funerals, or graveside services
Prepare and complete accurate documents related to services, cremations, maintenance, and other types of data
Meeting with families and arranging funeral services, completing necessary forms and documents and ensuring that attention to detail is followed with each family
Always maintain reverence and respect for the deceased
Directing and overseeing funeral services in the funeral home, at church and the cemetery
Qualifications
Licensed Funeral Director / Embalmer in Florida (or possess the ability to reciprocate)
Have excellent communication skills, integrity, and an innate passion for serving others.
Bilingual candidates a plus
Must possess above average customer service skills
Must have an innate ability for attention to details
Compensation
$27.00- $30.00 per hour, commensurate with experience
