Role Overview:
As a Licensed Drug & Alcohol Counselor in our Adolescent Program, you will work hand in hand with peer support recovery specialists, Suboxone providers, medication‑management staff, ARMHS professionals, CTSS professionals, DBT therapists, dietitians, psychiatrists, LMFTs, LICSWs and LPCCs. This role primarily involves group and individual sessions with adolescents, maintaining compliant client records, conducting intakes and assessments, participating in clinical consult meetings and staff meetings.
Schedule & Pay:
We offer flexible scheduling that fits your lifestyle. The ideal hours for this role are 40 hours per week. You could work 5 days, 4‑10 hour days, or we are open to 32 hours per week for the right candidate. Hours are a mix of day and evening. The base salary is $55,000–$70,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Nystrom & Associates integrates mental health into its substance use disorder treatment. Our team ensures staff have the resources needed to meet each client where they are. We use evidence‑based education and strategies including Living in Balance, CBT, DBT, 12‑step facilitation, relapse prevention skill building, nutrition services and family programming in a structured curriculum for both our 1.0 and 2.1 levels of care. We offer driving‑with‑care levels one and two for clients who need education and support, and alumni after‑care groups for clients to continue to receive support from peers.
Requirements:
Must be licensed as a Drug & Alcohol counselor; license must be active and unrestricted.
Experience or interest in working with adolescents (generally ages 12‑18).
