Job Description
Clarifi Staffing Solutions is partnering with a forward-thinking Illinois school district to hire a dedicated Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2025-2026 academic year. This full-time, in-person opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact by supporting multilingual learners in developing essential communication skills.
As a Bilingual SLP, you will provide culturally responsive speech and language services to a diverse caseload of students, with a focus on those who are English Learners (ELs) or bilingual. You'll conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate closely with educators and families to help students thrive both academically and socially.
Position Overview: Collaborate with classroom teachers, EL specialists, and other service providers. Provide training or consultation to staff and families to support carryover of skills. Provide therapy services in English and the student's native language, when appropriate. Maintain clear and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations. Help identify appropriate assessment tools for culturally and linguistically diverse populations. Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in bilingual and multilingual students. Requirements
Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse populations. Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish (written and spoken skills required). Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFs will be considered with appropriate supervision. Active Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathology endorsement. Benefits
