Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist Position – HonorHealth
Location: Scottsdale/Phoenix, Arizona
Affiliation: HonorHealth (9-hospital non-profit system); Arizona State University John Shufeldt School of Medicine and Medical Engineering (opening 2026)
Role Highlights
Join a well-established Advanced Heart Failure Program with a strong clinical foundation and a commitment to expanding access to cutting‑edge therapies.
Become part of an experienced and collaborative cardiovascular team, including an advanced heart failure specialist, interventional cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, Advanced Practice Providers and dedicated VAD coordinator—each contributing complementary expertise and a shared vision for excellence.
Contribute to a robust durable Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) program, supported by a mature temporary Mechanical Circulatory Support (MCS) infrastructure that enables high-acuity care and programmatic expansion.
Interest in pulmonary hypertension preferred but not necessary.
Opportunities to shape clinical pathways, research initiatives, and multidisciplinary care models.
Work in a dynamic environment that values innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement, with access to advanced technologies including ECMO, temporary VADs, and comprehensive diagnostic resources.

Board Certified in Cardiology and Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant Cardiology
