Our primary focus is delivering best‑in‑class security to businesses—from enterprise and multi‑site customers to commercial real estate, healthcare, retail, and industrial clients—with government accounts as a strategic secondary market.

The Role (High Level) You will be the go‑to seller for commercial customers, responsible for winning new business and expanding enterprise and mid‑market commercial accounts. You’ll use consultative selling to translate business risk and operational goals into comprehensive physical security solutions. Government opportunities will be pursued as a secondary business line—responding to RFPs and managing public‑sector procurements as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Drive new business and grow existing commercial accounts across verticals (corporate, healthcare, retail, hospitality, industrial, CRE, finance).

Own the full sales cycle for business customers: prospecting, needs analysis, solution specification, pricing, proposal, negotiation and close.

Perform consultative site assessments and collaborate with engineering to develop practical, ROI‑oriented solutions (VMS, cameras, access control, alarms, emergency notification).

Build executive and operational relationships with security directors, IT leaders, facility/property managers, and procurement teams.

Prepare clear scopes of work, bills of material, and commercial proposals optimized for commercial procurement processes.

Deliver technical demos and executive briefings that tie security investments to business outcomes (risk reduction, compliance, operational efficiency).

Support government opportunities as a secondary focus: respond to RFPs/RFIs, understand GSA/cooperative purchasing vehicles, and attend pre‑bid meetings when relevant.

Maintain accurate pipeline and activity in CRM (Salesforce or equivalent), deliver reliable forecasts, and consistently achieve quota.

Partner with OEMs, project management, and service teams to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of direct sales experience selling physical security systems to commercial/business customers (video surveillance, access control, intrusion/alarm, emergency systems).

Proven track record closing mid‑market and enterprise commercial deals; ability to manage complex multi‑stakeholder sales.

Strong technical fluency: IP cameras, VMS/NVR, access control platforms, intrusion systems, PoE networking, and emergency/mass‑notification solutions.

Experience creating scopes of work, BOMs, and commercial proposals for business customers.

Comfortable presenting to C‑level and operational stakeholders and translating technical specs into business value.

Familiarity with CRM tools (Zoho preferred) and Microsoft Office.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regionally (typical travel 25–50%).

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Security, or equivalent experience preferred.

Preferred / Nice‑to‑Have

Experience with major Video Surveillance, Access Control & Intrusion platforms (e.g., Genetec, Milestone, Hanwha, Brivo, Avigilon, Axis, Honeywell, HID, Bosch) or vendor certifications.

Prior exposure to government procurement (RFPs, GSA, cooperative purchasing) — as a secondary competency.

Ability to read technical drawings and collaborate on system design; AutoCAD or System Surveyor familiarity a plus.

Existing relationships within target commercial verticals or with key OEM partners.
