LHH is partnering with a dynamic organization to recruit a Controller who will lead the accounting department and play a critical role in business strategy, reporting, and compliance. This is a direct hire opportunity for a seasoned professional ready to make an impact. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

Lead budgeting and forecasting processes; analyze variances and provide strategic insights.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.

Manage internal controls and implement process improvements.

Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors and tax advisors.

Support executive leadership with financial analysis and decision-making.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles.

Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

Proficiency in accounting software and Excel; ERP experience a plus.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.
