About the Role To lead the demand planning for Dyson US, partnering with the US Sales Organization, the Asia-based Dyson Supply Chain, and the Americas Supply Chain and Leadership Teams. Be an inspirational leader and mentor to a team of demand planning professionals. Lead the monthly IBP process for A and B grade finished goods as well as accessories.
Main Accountabilities and Supporting Activities Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to develop accurate Demand Plans, linked to customers’ Sales and Trade Stock levels.
Lead all monthly IBP Supply Chain processes for the market and lead meetings within the US Market and Group.
Establish Demand Planning deliverables, capability, and ways of working within Market and Group functions, instituting world class process to support “Double Dyson” goal.
Forecasting
Forecast at the account and product level as required.
Analyze weekly in-stock data and partner with sales to identify and resolve stock‑out issues at chain and store level.
Support delivery of assigned budgets on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
Promotional Planning
Support execution of strategic plans for retailers and products, as well as an Integrated Planning process to align on longer term execution and deliver the annual plan.
Seek consensus and approval from internal stakeholders for proposed plans.
Performance Analysis
Develop and execute assortment and promotional effectiveness analysis.
Provide long‑range scenario planning to support annual budget and new product development.
Review weekly business performance to understand sales and category trends.
Communicate all critical demand changes to Senior Leadership, finance, sales, and marketing, as required. Play a leadership role in generating timely options to deal with issues.
Monitor forecast performance and utilize root cause analysis to identify misses to the plan and recommend subsequent process improvement opportunities.
Partner with global operations, marketing, and sales teams to drive new product launch planning.
Determine pipefill and replenishment quantities by retailer, ensuring all relevant retailer timelines and reset dates are met.
Communicate US needs to Group Supply Chain to ensure all areas of the business are working toward the same plan.
Coordinate audit with the quality team upon new product arrival.
Team Leadership Inspire, actively manage and lead direct reports.
Communicate clear priorities and required results.
Provide consistent support and regular feedback through 1:1s and team meetings.
Consistently monitor and track performance goals for the team.
Drive continuous improvement in processes to deliver improved demand forecast accuracy as well as in the monthly IBP process.
Relish the opportunity to pick up new activities that fall broadly in the purpose of the role.

About You
Bachelor’s degree preferred – Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Logistics preferred.
8+ years forecasting and/or planning experience required.
3+ years’ experience in a CPG company required.
2+ years’ experience managing a team to drive results required.
SAP/Anaplan/Kinaxis experience strongly preferred.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
Ability to partner effectively with Sales and Supply Chain teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong aptitude for business math and numerical reasoning, and creative problem solving.
Adaptable/flexible – able to multi‑task.
Must have high level of integrity, professionalism and loyalty.
