Electronics Technician

Overview The Test Facilities Operation, Maintenance and Engineering (TFOME) contract at the NASA Glenn Research Center, Neil A. Armstrong Test Facility in Sandusky, Ohio is searching for an Electronics Technician. Responsibilities This individual will be responsible for: Replacing components and wiring of circuits. Repairing simple electronic equipment. Taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers and oscilloscopes. Qualifications This individual must have: Experience or an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology. Familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits and direct knowledge of common electrical equipment. Ability to take test readings using common instruments such as, digital multi-meters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, and oscilloscopes. Familiarity with basic electrical codes and knowledge of proper use of the NEC handbook.
