Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Backend API Developer with extensive experience in building robust and scalable applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, particularly with Spring Boot, and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services that support our applications. This role requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively in a fast paced environment and contribute to the overall success of our software development team.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain high performance Java backend APIs using Spring Boot.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve application performance.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance development processes.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Mandatory Skills:
7 10 years of experience in Java development.
Strong expertise in Spring Boot framework.
Proficient in RESTful API design and development.
Experience with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL.
Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
Solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
Preferred Skills:
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with front end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks).
Experience with microservices architecture.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven track record of delivering high quality software solutions.
