Center for Human Development (CHD) is seeking a
Program Manager
for a new Intensive Treatment Residential (ITR) program located in West Springfield, MA. The program is slated to open in November 2025 and serves male adolescents (5-13 years of age). It provides housing, therapeutic, emotional, and educational support with a goal to develop healthy relationships and real-world skills. Your role
The Program Manager is an exempt, salaried professional who supports and implements the agency’s philosophy, clinical, and programmatic goals. They provide administrative oversight to ensure high-quality services, build on client strengths, supervise direct care staff, and foster a supportive learning environment. They work within the agency’s team model, promoting communication, support, and accountability among staff. They are responsible for the overall functioning of the program to meet youth and family needs. Extended hours, weekend hours, and holiday hours are possible. They report to the Assistant Director/Director of Residential Services. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution preferred (can be substituted with experience). Minimum of 3 years of residential and/or supervisory experience preferred. Experience working with youth and their families. Experience in community child welfare and mental health programming. Driver’s license required. Have a legally registered and insured car for work use. Success Factors
