Ground-up commercial construction experience is required, and MEP experience is preferred. Essential Functions Coordinate drawings and specifications with trades Prepare RFIs and submittals Manage procurement logs to schedule long lead items Coordinate meetings with trades, clients, governing agencies, and inspectors Manage trade and owner change orders Schedule work to meet project timelines Manage costs across varying scopes of work Possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience Have at least 4 years of construction office or field experience in a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager role Have 1 year or more of direct supervisory experience Experience with project management software (Constructware, P6, Timberline, etc.) Experience with cost projection, financial analysis, budget reviews, and labor reports Experience with JD Edwards or similar applications Preferred Experience MEP experience Local candidates preferred but not required About us Balfour Beatty US is a leading provider of general contracting, construction management, and design-build services for public and private clients nationwide.
