Position Overview
The Equipment Maintenance Specialist is responsible for ensuring a safe and efficient workplace during the 3rd shift. We are seeking a self-motivated individual who thrives in a collaborative environment. You'll have the autonomy to manage your schedule, prioritize tasks, and deliver timely results. Your troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills will be essential for effective repairs. Commitment to preventive and predictive maintenance is key to keeping equipment running smoothly. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are expected, along with a passion for continuous self-improvement and quality workmanship to meet our customers' evolving needs.
Responsibilities
Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance to keep machines, equipment, and facilities in optimal repair.
Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance on various electrical and mechanical systems.
Report any irregularities, maintenance needs, and quality issues to the Supervisor and Crew Leader promptly.
Maintain a tidy and organized work environment.
Execute any additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Crew Leader following safety protocols and relevant codes.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess knowledge in the following areas:
AC/DC wiring systems
AC/DC drives and motors
Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) including Allen Bradley, Siemens, B&R, Beckhoff
Touchscreen technology
Mechanical systems including bearings, alignment, chains, and belts
Pneumatics and hydraulics
Design and fabrication
Preventive and predictive maintenance on production machinery
Experience with mills and lathes is a plus
