Opportunity Overview 12‑16 month onsite contract opportunity at Diablo Canyon Power Plant, Avila Beach, CA. US Citizenship or Permanent Resident of the US required. Per diem available.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
Provide solutions to challenges associated with commercial nuclear power plant systems and components.
Create and submit engineering documentation.
Collaborate with a multi‑discipline team while driving to improve group capability on Nuclear Power Plant Technology.
Contribute to multiple customer departments outside of immediate area, working within project constraints to meet delivery deadlines.
Perform technical and quality reviews for procuring materials and services.
Classify materials and services.
Develop inspection plans and characteristics.
Implement cross‑discipline review of equivalency evaluations and other engineering design documents.
Create quality information records and Document Management System documents.
Maintain bills of material and update component database.
Develop material purchase specifications.
Experience with SAP.
Qualifications
Minimum 4 years experience in related supply chain, nuclear power, or technical knowledge.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical and I&C, or 2‑year associate degree in a related discipline from an accredited university.
Eligibility to receive and maintain an unescorted security clearance at a Commercial Nuclear Facility.
Prior unescorted security clearance authorization to work onsite at a Commercial Nuclear Facility.
US Citizenship or Permanent Resident of the US required.
