Job Summary
The
Quality Assurance Dietitian
leads quality management and performance improvement initiatives to ensure excellence in clinical nutrition services and food safety. This role conducts compliance and chart audits, provides technical support for electronic systems, and ensures adherence to federal, state, and organizational regulations. In addition, the position delivers nutrition therapy and education, facilitates staff training and development, and serves as a resource to support departmental and organizational goals.
Minimum Qualifications
Degrees : Bachelor\'s in Food and Nutrition or Dietetics Master\'s : from an ACEND-accredited program to be eligible for the Registered Dietitian (RD) exam. (Preferred)
Licenses & Certification : Licensed Dietitian (TX) Registered Dietitian, Commission on Dietetic Registration Servsafe Manager
Work Experience Three (3) Years Work Experience: Clinical Nutrition, Food Service Management. Preferably in an Acute care hospital setting.
Communication Skills
Above Average Verbal Communication (Heavy Public Contact) Exceptional Verbal (Public Speaking) Writing/Correspondence Writing/Reports
