THE WORK:

You'll collaborate closely with pursuit teams, technical staff, and marketing professionals to conceptualize and develop persuasive visual materials for proposals, client deliverables, interviews, and a range of marketing initiatives.

You'll design and produce visually compelling infographics, charts, page layouts, and branded templates that clearly communicate technical information and support business development goals.

You'll create innovative, high-impact presentation decks and visual aids that align with client needs, pursuit themes, and firm messaging.

You’ll work with the Stakeholder Engagement and Communications Manager to develop public awareness campaigns, video scripts, flyers, traffic notices, and other project-related materials.

You’ll design visually engaging print, digital, and social media assets that align with project branding and messaging standards.

You’ll develop and track communication campaigns, including strategy, content calendars, high-touchpoint placements, event coordination, and performance reporting.

You’ll support community outreach by creating public-facing materials and coordinating with vendors and clients to host events, print materials, and attend council meetings.

You’ll recommend and implement updates to project websites to ensure consistent, timely, and accessible public information.

You’ll draft, format, and edit outreach materials such as newsletters, flyers, web updates, and presentation decks.

You’ll collaborate with communications, outreach, and technical teams to translate complex project information into clear, audience-friendly visuals.

You’ll maintain brand consistency, ensure accuracy and accessibility compliance (ADA, WCAG), and prepare final deliverables for publication.

You’ll maintain and update contact lists, distribution databases, and stakeholder engagement logs.

You’ll coordinate agendas, materials, sign-in sheets, and follow-up documentation for public meetings and internal reviews.

You’ll take on other tasks as assigned.

$75,000 - $85,000 a year

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably supporting marketing, proposals, or communications within the AEC or infrastructure industry

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field

Minimum of 4+ years experience in Adobe Creative Suite — particularly Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat — as well as Microsoft Office and other creative tools and platforms

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

Serve as a subject matter expert on visual standards, guiding teams on best practices and design consistency across materials, and play a key role in evolving a subset of the company’s brand identity tailored to infrastructure and capital projects

Maintain and curate a centralized library of digital assets, including graphics, photography, and reusable design elements, to support efficiency and quality across pursuits

Champion brand integrity by managing and enhancing visual identity elements to ensure a cohesive and professional look across all external-facing materials

Contribute to process improvements and design innovations that enhance the overall impact, efficiency, and scalability of the team’s creative output

Demonstrate adaptability and a proactive approach in responding to shifting priorities, ad hoc requests, and collaborative opportunities in a dynamic team environment
