DONOR RELATIONS ASSOCIATE

Responsibilities
Assist the Account Managers in achieving whole blood and apheresis collection goals.
Complete telemarketing functions to educate, thank, and sign‑up donors for future donations.
Perform on‑site recruitment, manage sign‑up tables, and assist with donor flow during blood drives.
Help educate and convert donors to double red and platelet donations where appropriate.
Assist Marketing efforts by helping with packing, distribution, and inventorying of incentive items; labeling products with recruitment‑related tags; and telemarketing sweepstakes winners and Donor/Recipient Meet and Greet attendees.
Support preparation for special events (contacting invitees, setting up gift tables, refreshments, check‑in tables, etc.).
Perform data entry and organizational tasks for the department.
Exemplify CBC's Customer Service Mission and Core Values.
Make recommendations to improve organizational processes.
Perform any related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Two to three years of experience in sales and marketing or customer service.
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
Entry‑level position; some experience in sales, marketing and/or customer service preferred.
Any combination of education, training, and experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and experience to perform the essential functions of the job.
Skills & Abilities
Sales and marketing skills.
Strong customer service skills, both written and verbal.
Flexibility and sensitivity to changing demands and priorities.
Strong attention to detail in all work processes.
Ability to work flexible hours with some nights and weekends.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
High level of interpersonal skills to handle a variety of complex issues and situations.
Ability to communicate clearly with the general public.
Ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization and customers in a helpful, courteous, and friendly manner while demonstrating sensitivity to and respect for diverse populations.
Ability to work in a strong team environment.
Ability to be responsive and available to management to address issues and concerns as they arise.
Must be self‑motivated and a self‑starter with good organization skills.
