The Funeral Director will serve as the company’s ambassador in the community, representing the highest level of care for our customers and their loved ones. The Impact You Will Make
Responsibilities include: Meeting with clients to discuss funeral arrangements, service options, casket selection, and pricing; preparing standardized contracts. Performing and supervising embalming services. Finalizing arrangement details, maintaining compliance documentation. Directing funeral services, coordinating pallbearers, and assisting clergy. Preparing and issuing necessary permits and documents (death certificate, coroner permits, embalming case studies, etc.). Transporting deceased from home or hospital to the funeral home. Maintaining cleanliness of preparation rooms and equipment. Performing all related functions as assigned. Core Competencies

At least 1 year of experience as a licensed funeral director and 2 years of post‑secondary education; graduate from an accredited embalming or mortuary science program. Licensed funeral director and embalmer or ability to obtain necessary state licenses. Strong concentration and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Leadership ability and teamwork experience. Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and push as needed. Valid state driver’s license. Availability to work holidays, evenings, and weekends when required. Our Investment in You
