Gastroenterologist Direct Hire Opportunity in Jackson, MI
Premier Physician Services is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist for a permanent, full-time position at our client facility in Jackson, Michigan just 30 miles west of Ann Arbor.
Position Highlights This role offers a balanced mix of inpatient, outpatient, rounding, and clinic responsibilities. You ll join a growing team with strong support and access to a hospital-owned endoscopy center and outpatient clinic located on campus for seamless patient care. • Schedule: Full-time, clinic coverage one day/week with in-house APP support • Setting: Level II Trauma Center • Coverage Reason: Growth and one replacement hire • Patient Volume: Moderate, with APP support in both inpatient and outpatient settings • Academic Involvement: Teaching opportunities available through a robust GME program • Facilities: On-campus endoscopy center and outpatient clinic for streamlined workflow • Visa Sponsorship: Open to H1B candidates only (J1 not accepted) • No Locum, 1099, or alternate shift arrangements accepted
Candidate Requirements • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology (must certify within one year) Required • Fellowship-trained in Gastroenterology Required • Michigan Medical License (active or willing to obtain) Required • BLS certification (active or willing to obtain) Required • ERCP certification (proctoring available if needed) Required • Clean malpractice and licensure history Required • COVID and flu vaccinations Required • 5 8 years of post-training GI experience Preferred • ITIL or other industry certifications Preferred • PMP certification Preferred • Must not hold second jobs or commute more than 1 hour
