Join a team working on cutting-edge systems that shape the future of aerospace and defense. As an Assembly Technician, you'll be part of a fast-paced manufacturing environment building Special Test Equipment, rack-mounted chassis, and aircraft wire harness assemblies. You'll collaborate closely with design engineers and fellow technicians to support major defense programs. Responsibilities Assemble and kit parts for rack-mounted chassis and wire harnesses. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues during system build-up and integration. Communicate project status to the Integration and Test (I&T) IPT Lead. Manage work movement and kitting across multiple Oklahoma City sites. Design and implement testing methods for custom and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) equipment. Compile test data and recommend improvements to testing procedures and manufacturing processes. Minimum Qualifications Formal electronics training (military or technical school). Hands-on experience with aircraft wiring repairs. Proficiency in using manual tools and general test equipment (e.g., multimeters). Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Must be a U.S. citizen. Preferred Qualifications Active Secret or higher security clearance. Familiarity with Mil-Std 1553 bus hardware. Experience using oscilloscopes and digital multimeters. Aircraft wiring and harness repair expertise. IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certification (preferred but not required).
