Position: Assistant/Associate Professor of Nursing – BSN, Full‑time, Regular, UNG – Gainesville. Job ID: 290631.
Job Summary The University of North Georgia, Department of Nursing, is seeking a faculty member for its 10‑month, full‑time Traditional Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. Preference will be given to candidates holding a nursing doctorate and with academic teaching experience in a B.S. Nursing program.
Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate students in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, including didactic, clinical, and laboratory instruction.
Travel to clinical sites in the metro‑Atlanta area and North Georgia region as required.
Engage in scholarship and service in addition to teaching.
Conduct clinical site visits in regional health care settings.
Required Qualifications
Doctorate in nursing.
Minimum of two (2) years’ recent experience as a Registered Nurse.
Current Georgia license as a registered professional nurse.
