Job Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric age groups using established assessments and observational methods. Craft individualized treatment plans designed to meet both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives. Deliver focused, one-on-one speech therapy interventions targeting language, fluency, voice, and swallowing impacts. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team comprising physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, families, and caregivers to ensure seamless care pathways. Provide educational resources to patients and families to facilitate growth and progress outside of therapy sessions. Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring a consistent approach throughout the treatment process. Maintain precise and prompt documentation compliant with state, federal, and organizational policies. Engage in continued professional development through ongoing education and teamwork. Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), focused on delivering high-quality care, if not yet ASHA certified. Certifications
State licensure as a
Speech Language Therapist . Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is highly desirable. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment. Skills and Attributes
