As a Staff Physician for the Emergency Medicine Services, this position is responsible for all aspects of Emergency Medicine. Perform appropriate evaluations for patients. Participate effectively in team meetings and treatment planning conferences and collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team Members in a manner that enhances coordination of comprehensive patient care. This position will require rotating 10-hour shifts including weekends and holidays from 6a to 2a. Academic Affiliation: Eastern Virginia Medical School Position: Physician Emergency Medicine Service Salary: $300,000-$380,000 Who May Apply: U.S. Citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA policy.
