You will lead the strategy, design, and delivery of the user interface and user experience across Teradata’s digital products and platforms. You will be accountable for ensuring that every user interaction—whether through the Teradata Console or other product interfaces—reflects excellence, consistency, and the company’s innovation-driven vision.
Base pay range: $199,500.00/yr – $299,300.00/yr
What You Will Do
Lead and inspire the Console team and UI Center of Excellence, fostering creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Drive the overall UI development strategy, ensuring alignment with product roadmaps, brand standards, and user‑centric design principles.
Partner with product, design, and engineering leaders to define and deliver world‑class user experiences that enhance usability, engagement, and satisfaction.
Establish development best practices and scalable frameworks for UI components across platforms.
Apply foundational AI skills to explore and implement ways AI can enhance productivity, innovation, and impact across our workforce—leveraging AI to streamline design, accelerate coding, personalize experiences, and improve accessibility.
Champion experimentation with AI‑based design tools, intelligent user insights, and automation to advance how Teradata delivers value to customers.

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
15+ years of progressive experience in software development or UI engineering, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
Proven track record of leading enterprise‑scale UI platform development for complex software products.
Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C- and VP‑level stakeholders, translating business goals into technical direction.
Foundational AI skills and the ability to understand how AI can be applied to improve design, development, and user experience outcomes.
