Full Time - Fulfillment Team Lead - Day at Lowe's Companies, Inc. Responsibilities
Provide SMART customer service at all times through Lowe’s customer service policies, procedures, and programs. Seek out customers to understand needs and assist in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and/or loading merchandise. Listen to and respond knowledgeably and promptly to customer and employee questions by guiding them to store areas and walking them through projects when necessary. Demonstrate sincere appreciation to customers. Communicate information to customers regarding stock, special order merchandise, feature benefits, application, and warranty information related to Lowe’s programs. Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service. Receive and direct calls to meet the needs of customers and associates. Review daily and weekly schedules to ensure proper coverage, assigning backup coverage as needed. Work cross-functionally with the PRO team to maintain service expectations for Pro Fulfillment. Pick, stage, and verify readiness of all delivery, pro, installation, and pickup orders. Follow up with leadership when picking quality is not met by team members. Monitor notifications to maintain customer service expectations when customers are on the way, arrived, or a new order has been submitted. In-Stock: enter and retrieve information from Lowe’s systems regarding inventory, order management, and special ordering. Conduct walks of fulfillment areas, bays, or inventory to monitor status. Inform the Department Supervisor about fulfillment area status in-person, by phone, email, or status reports. Act as liaison between Pro and fulfillment departments, ensuring all Pro orders are picked and staged within required timeframes. Ensure all pro pickup, delivery and install orders are picked and staged on time. Pull, prepare, inspect, stage, and load merchandise for customers, contractors, and delivery truck orders using appropriate equipment as needed; verify items match invoices and orders by reviewing items, model numbers, quantities, and descriptions. Perform supplemental fulfillment tasks as needed (e.g., unfulfilled orders report, restocking expired orders, order audits). Delivery and pickup administration: auditing staging locations, contacting customers, removing expired/cancelled orders from staging areas. Ensure safe, secure loads and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Prepare the store for business by organizing merchandise, cleaning aisles, and removing trash and debris. Identify and communicate security risks (e.g., shoplifting) to management and/or Asset Protection. Maintain housekeeping standards and store/working area organization. Maintain a safe and secure work environment, including daily safety reviews and hazard notes. Adhere to safety requirements relevant to regular duties (e.g., top stock safety, safety devices, powered equipment). Operate store equipment as needed in one’s role and department (e.g., computers, cameras, freight equipment, etc.). To safely move product, obtain certification for Counterbalance Forklift, Narrow Aisle Reach Truck, and Order Picker as required for this role. Undertake other duties as assigned.
