Job Description

Primary Duties and Responsibilities The Director of Rehabilitation Services is responsible for all patient care, administrative, financial, and employees for Rehabilitation Services (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Language Pathology) including inpatient and outpatient service lines.

This role is also responsible for program development and marketing of related services.

Provides an environment that promotes high quality care and positive patient outcomes.

Ensures compliance with all state and regulatory agencies.

Implements and evaluates programs, policies, and procedures to ensure the coordination and delivery of high quality patient-focused care.

Oversees the operational budget.

Responsible for hiring, managing, training, retention and development of the Rehabilitation staff.

May require meeting and rounding outside normal business hours including nights and/or weekends.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Ten (10) years' experience as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, and or Speech Language Pathologist with five years of inpatient Rehab services management required. Experience with detailed policy and procedural reports to comply with regulatory agencies required. Strong experience with Microsoft Office or equivalent required. Business Acumen Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred. APTA Membership preferred.

License Required

Current licensure or eligible as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, and or Speech Language Pathologist
