Overview
We are seeking a skilled
Mechatronics Engineer
with expertise in
system testing, robotics, and cross-disciplinary design collaboration
. This role focuses on testing, improving, and integrating software and hardware systems—particularly in the development of
special application end effectors
for 6-axis robotic systems. The successful candidate will lead design validation efforts, coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and software teams, and take ownership of the full engineering lifecycle from concept to release.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to
design, build, test, and troubleshoot
new robotic end effectors.
Conduct
Design of Experiments (DOE)
and develop solutions to complex technical challenges.
Perform
software regression and unit testing
.
Prototype, test, and refine mechanical, electrical, and software subsystems to improve performance and reliability.
Develop detailed
engineering documentation
, including CAD models, schematics, and technical specifications.
Present
data-driven reports
and technical recommendations to internal stakeholders.
Lead hands-on
testing and validation
in the robotics lab (onsite role).
Apply structured
problem-solving methods (e.g., 8D)
to investigate and resolve technical issues.
Act as a liaison for cross-functional projects across multiple engineering disciplines.
Engage in
robotic path programming
and
computer vision integration
.
Mentor and train engineers, technicians, and production personnel.
Research and implement
emerging mechatronics and robotics technologies
to enhance system capabilities.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in
Mechatronics, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering
, or related field.
6–15 years
of relevant engineering experience.
Background in
robotics systems and automation
.
Strong
problem-solving and troubleshooting
skills.
Ability to work
independently
and manage individual projects.
Working knowledge of
statistical process control
and
basic statistical analysis
.
Demonstrated experience in
project ownership
from concept to deployment.
Qualifications
Hands-on experience in
robotic hardware design
and
end effector development
.
Proficiency with
CAD tools
such as Siemens NX, Creo, or SolidWorks.
Familiarity with
Python, SQL, OpenCV
, and
machine learning frameworks
(TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Experience with
engineering project management tools

.
