USAC Area Portfolio Leader for the United States and Canada Location
On-site at 3M Center, Maplewood, MN (minimum 4 days a week) Responsibilities
Lead execution of the Global Portfolio Strategy in the US and Canada. Translate global strategy into area plans, identify priority segments, use cases, and drive growth programs. Deliver revenue, margin and share targets aligned to the Area Operational Plan through pricing and mix management. Optimize assortments and manage end‑of‑life and replacement strategies. Drive the Innovation pipeline by quantifying opportunities, shaping requirements with voice‑of‑customer, and partnering with global portfolio leaders. Lead new product launches, promotions and channel programs, providing sales with positioning, messaging and tools. Forecast demand, influence S&OP, and manage constraints to meet service and inventory goals. Understand and influence local regulations, specifications and certification needs; tailor offerings and messaging. Build relationships with key accounts, agencies and channel partners, capturing feedback and case studies. Collaborate cross‑functionally with global portfolio, commercial, laboratory, government affairs, supply chain and other key functions. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher (verified prior to start). Minimum five (5) years of business or technical experience in a private, public, government or military environment. Results‑driven with strong cross‑functional collaboration and analytical skills. Customer focus and willingness to challenge the status quo. Additional qualifications that could help: Master’s degree in Business Administration or Marketing. Seven (7) years of business or technical experience. Experience in a government or highly regulated industry. Knowledge of industry regulations and certification processes. Travel & Relocation
Up to 20% domestic travel. Relocation may be authorized. Work Authorization
