Head of Financial Planning and Analysis About the Company Globally acclaimed insurance group Industry Insurance Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a Group Head of FP&A to lead the strategic and operational aspects of the financial planning and analysis function. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the FP&A function, building its capabilities, and delivering key strategic and financial objectives. This role requires a visionary leader with a wealth of experience in a strategic, international, and matrix-led environment, ideally within the (Re)Insurance sector. The Group Head of FP&A will be instrumental in developing the business's analytical capabilities to support commercial decision-making and value creation. Key responsibilities include leading the strategic direction of the FP&A function, overseeing the development of group-wide financial plans, and maintaining a robust performance management framework. The role also involves leading a high-performing FP&A team, championing a culture of proactive insight, and driving digital transformation in the FP&A function.

The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years' of experience in financial planning and analysis, a proven track record of successful team management, and a strong ability to drive change and enhance financial planning through effective business partnering. They must possess the leadership capabilities of tenacity, inspiration, empowerment, professionalism, and entrepreneurial spirit, and be adept at communicating with senior management and Board members. The role demands a leader who can see the bigger picture while paying attention to detail, and who is agile and flexible in responding to business requirements. The Group Head of FP&A will also be expected to lead cross-functional initiatives, represent the FP&A function externally, and ensure that the function is at the forefront of best practices in financial planning.
