Property Manager

to oversee a dynamic

industrial portfolio

in the

Dallas market

. This role is ideal for a strategic, customer-focused leader who excels in operational execution, team management, and financial performance. The position offers a

contract-to-hire

path and provides the opportunity to work with a respected organization in commercial real estate. Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Relationships Lead and manage the property management team, including hiring, performance reviews, and personnel development. Collaborate with leasing teams and brokers to drive leasing performance. Build and maintain strong vendor relationships throughout the Dallas region. Actively participate in industry associations and local civic groups to enhance professional network and market knowledge. Tenant Relations Ensure superior tenant satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution. Monitor rent collections and manage accounts receivable in alignment with lease terms. Interpret and enforce lease agreements effectively. Prepare monthly AR reports with actionable collection strategies. Manage work orders via Facility Manager system and ensure timely follow-up. Construction & Operations Handle emergency maintenance issues with urgency and professionalism. Oversee tenant improvement and construction projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget completion. Bid, negotiate, and manage service contracts for maximum value. Ensure vacant spaces are in show-ready condition. Recommend operational enhancements to improve safety and property value. Compliance Ensure vendor and tenant insurance certificates are current and compliant. Report incidents and insurance claims per company policy. Maintain up-to-date safety documentation and regulatory compliance. Reporting & Accounting Partner with accounting to produce accurate monthly financials. Prepare detailed monthly management reports including budget forecasts, variance explanations, and executive summaries. Approve invoices, validate billing reports, and manage annual budgets. Oversee CAM reconciliations and communicate results to tenants clearly. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, or related field. 3–5 years of Property Management experience

(industrial portfolio experience preferred). Proficiency with

Yardi

systems: Voyager, Elevate, Commercial Café. Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills. Willingness to travel across local properties and respond to after-hours needs when necessary.
