Health Center Training and Technical Assistance VISTA
The Health Center Training and Technical Assistance VISTA will support efforts to equip health centers to address the complex needs of residents of public housing. The VISTA position will work to address health barriers faced by residents of public housing, a population with disproportionately high rates of chronic illness, mental health challenges, and social barriers to care. The VISTA's work will contribute to NNCC's ability to build evidence-based curricula, coordinate learning collaboratives, support literature reviews, and strengthen evaluation efforts-directly supporting priorities in access, patient experience, and population health.
Member Duties :
1. Conduct literature reviews of intersections of health, public housing, and nurse-led care. 2. Create program strategy blogs on NNCC's website based on research and current events related to public health topics. 3. Include program strategy considerations and recommendations as they relate to literature reviews. 4. Help develop conceptual models for webinars and podcasts. 5. Help conduct webinars podcasts or learning collaboratives. 6. Evaluate the webinars and podcasts using quantitative and/or qualitative data. 7. Draft publications, reports and blog posts about the findings from the webinar, podcast, and learning collaboratives.
