What will you do?
We are seeking a visionary and strategic Director of Fleet Operations to lead our transportation department and drive operational excellence across all Ashley locations. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day fleet operations, managing driver performance, and implementing innovative strategies that enhance customer satisfaction, employee engagement, and overall efficiency.
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a passion for continuous improvement, a deep understanding of transportation logistics, and the ability to inspire and guide a high-performing team.
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute operational strategies that align with company goals, driving performance and continuous improvement across all fleet operations. Team & Driver Management: Lead, mentor, and manage driver teams and operations staff, ensuring optimal staffing, adherence to policies, and high employee engagement. Operational Excellence: Monitor and analyze labor, materials, and overhead to identify trends, improve productivity, and maintain quality and timeliness. Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety standards and ergonomic practices, ensuring a clean, organized, and compliant work environment. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal and external departments to enhance supply chain efficiency, resolve challenges, and support customer satisfaction. What do you need?
