Whitestone Associates, Inc., a 100% employee-owned company and leading provider of environmental and geotechnical engineering and consulting services throughout the eastern US, is currently recruiting a Geotechnical Engineer Intern
This is an excellent opportunity for engineering students to get real-life experience in the geotechnical engineering field. These internships are paid, part-time positions with flexible hours.
Locations:
Warren, NJ Wall Township, NJ Chalfont, PA Allentown, PA Rocky Hill, CT Southborough, MA Rochester, NY Buffalo, NY Tampa, FL West Palm Beach, FL Responsibilities:
Soil laboratory testing and coordination; Assisting with materials testing in our on-site laboratory; Geotechnical site research; Some field construction phase testing and inspection; and Assisting with soil boring and/or test pit investigations. Requirements:
Pursuing a degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering; and Ideally candidates will have taken and passed a Soils Laboratory class.
The estimated range for this position is $20-$22/hr
