Location: Vernon Hills, IL Schedule: 3 days/week (Preferred: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday Potential Flexibility on Hours) Weekly Hours: 21 hours/week Duration: 40 weeks Start Date: ASAP End Date: June 2, 2026 Hourly Pay Rate: $58/hr Grade Levels: Kindergarten 5th Grade Caseload: Split between a Kindergarten-only building and a Grades 15 elementary school (within walking distance) Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled
Occupational Therapist (OT)
to support students in a school-based setting. This role involves conducting evaluations, developing individualized therapy plans, delivering direct services, and maintaining documentation in alignment with each student's plan of care. Key Responsibilities
Perform student evaluations and develop treatment plans Provide therapy services in accordance with IEP goals Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with professional standards Qualifications
Current Occupational Therapist license in Illinois Minimum of 1 year of professional OT experience preferred CPR certification (if applicable) TB test or chest x-ray (if applicable) Current health certificate (as required by contract or state regulation) Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Modality: School-Based Occupational Therapy
