We're looking for an experienced
Capture Manager
to support our customers and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers. This is a unique opportunity to help build and shape a game-changing organization where we put our customers and people first.
About the role:
The Capture Manager will plan and manage capture efforts to win strategic DoD and federal contracts valued between $5M and $50M, with full responsibility for contract wins and losses. You'll work closely with Solutions Architects, Sales Engineers, and delivery teams to shape opportunities around Raft's core capabilities in AI/ML, data platforms, and cloud-native solutions.
What you'll do:
Track qualified bid opportunities and recommend bid/no-bid decisions
Collaborate with teams to shape RFPs and improve customer intimacy
Develop comprehensive Capture plans including competitive analysis, win themes, resource requirements, timelines, risk analysis, and ROI projections
Identify and negotiate with teaming partners
Supervise Proposal Managers and communicate bid strategies to teams and management
Keep Executive management informed on key program pursuit status
Ensure compliance with FAR and Procurement Integrity laws
Utilize capture management tools (Technomile, Loop) to track opportunities and manage capture activities
What we are looking for:
4+ years successful capture management experience in Federal/DoD sector
Proven track record supporting DoD contract pursuits and writing RFP/RFI responses
Strong project management, leadership, and communication skills
Deep knowledge of federal procurement regulations and proposal development
Proficiency with capture management tools such as Technomile and Loop
Highly preferred:
Experience with defense systems, data fusion platforms, or AI/ML applications
Understanding of edge computing and tactical deployment
Military background or direct DoD experience
Experience with GovWin, SAM.gov, and other federal opportunity tracking platforms
Clearance Requirements:
Active Top Secret clearance
Work Type:
Reside within reasonable commuting distance to either Colorado Springs, CO or McLean, VA
Ability to travel up to 30%
Salary Range :
$130,000 - $180,000
The determination of compensation is predicated upon a candidate's comprehensive experience, demonstrated skill, and proven abilities
