In this role, you will perform non-destructive testing (NDT) using radiographic inspection methods to ensure products and components meet required standards and specifications. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and compliance with safety and quality protocols.

Key Responsibilities Perform

Level II radiographic inspections

(RT) on materials, welds, and components according to established codes, standards, and procedures. Interpret and evaluate radiographic film/images to identify defects, discontinuities, or non-conformances. Set up, calibrate, and operate radiographic inspection equipment. Document results clearly and prepare detailed inspection reports. Ensure compliance with company, industry, and customer requirements (ASME, AWS, NAS410, etc.). Adhere to all

safety regulations

when handling radiographic equipment and exposure sources. Assist in training or guiding Level I inspectors as needed. Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve issues and improve processes. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred. Certification as

NDT Level II Radiographic Inspector

in accordance with

ASNT SNT-TC-1A, NAS410, or equivalent standards . 2-5 years of experience in radiographic inspection (manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial environment preferred). Strong understanding of NDT methods, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards. Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as required. Standing, walking, and handling inspection equipment for extended periods. Use of protective equipment, including radiation safety gear.
