Perform testing of serum/plasma according to defined instructions to achieve conformance to customer requirements, including assay and machine QC and testing on all analyzers according to defined instructions. Perform tasks independently or with minimal supervision. Primary responsibilities include: Assist with projects and production according to schedule, cleaning, preparing, and diluting samples, weighing, and solution preparations. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on all analyzers, DI water system, and general lab equipment. Responsible for downloading data from various analyzers and exporting data to the server test folder. Primary Responsibilities: Perform testing functions including sample preparation, dilutions, and testing Perform equipment maintenance, cleaning, and QC Calibrate assays on all analyzers Maintain a clean and orderly work area and exercise safe work practices Follow Good Manufacturing Practices Follow SOPs and instructions for use Assist in maintaining inventory Solve basic analyzer issues Export testing results to the appropriate testing folder in a timely manner Perform other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proficient in arithmetic and must be able to calculate ratios to perform conversions Must understand the metric system and be able to do conversions Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions accurately Must be organized and maintain a clean, safe work area Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English and have an ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, SOPs, manuals, and instructions Must be proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, and DYMO labeling program Education and Experience: A Bachelor's degree in a biological, chemical, or other related physical or life science field with three years IVD manufacturing is required Hematology experience preferred Similar work experience may be considered 0 to 2 years' experience in IVD manufacturing Pay scale of $25.82 - $38.73 per hour depending on training, education, and experience. This position is eligible to participate in up to 5% of the company bonus pool. We offer benefits including medical, PTO, up to 5% 401K match, and tuition reimbursement.
