Financial Analyst – FinTech | Global Payments
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – minimum 3 days onsite)

About the Company Our client is a fast‑scaling global FinTech innovator in the digital payments and financial infrastructure space. With expanding U.S. operations, they are seeking a Financial Analyst to play a key role in regulatory reporting, financial reconciliation, and treasury operations across multiple markets.
This is a strategic internal‑facing role offering high visibility, career progression, and the opportunity to be part of a lean, high‑performance finance function shaping the future of global payments.
What You Will Be Responsible For
Lead daily reconciliation of transmission liabilities , ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance — this is the core function of the role.
Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial regulatory filings in accordance with U.S. and state‑specific requirements.
Monitor liquidity and
support capital adequacy reporting
to regulatory bodies.
Partner with technology teams to
enhance automation, streamline reporting workflows , and support data integrity initiatives.
Assist in regulatory examinations, financial audits, and compliance reviews.
Uphold a
compliance‑first culture , ensuring financial reporting meets the highest standards of accuracy, clarity, and timeliness.
Who Will Succeed in This Role You are a
detail‑oriented finance professional
who thrives in high‑growth environments and takes full ownership of financial processes. You understand the importance of regulatory accuracy and are comfortable working cross‑functionally in a scaling FinTech setting.
Ideal Experience
3–5 years of accounting or financial reporting experience , ideally in financial services, FinTech, banking, or payments.
Strong background in
account reconciliation, general ledger accounting, or regulatory reporting .
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA track or CPA experience is highly advantageous).
Proven experience working with data reporting tools, financial systems, and Excel.
Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret and communicate financial data to internal stakeholders.
