Job Summary
Shift Leader at Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafe in Sandy Springs. Manage scheduled shifts (morning or evening), lead the team, ensure food safety and quality, provide excellent service, and maintain readiness for the next day. May work mornings 7 am‑4 pm or evenings 4 pm‑10 pm, with weekend and holiday support as required.

Responsibilities
Serve guests, build meaningful connections
Perform opening and closing tasks
Take responsibility for the restaurant when manager absent
Set tone for the shift and provide clear, calm direction to team
Master menu and product knowledge
Support or work stations as needed (kitchen included)
Prep food and perform side work
Follow proper cash handling and payment procedures
Maintain Health Department standards throughout shift
Adhere to alcohol handling policies and procedures
Maintain food handling and storage hygiene; keep uniform and appearance professional
Qualifications
At least 21 years old
Prior food service experience preferred
Leadership, guest service, and strong verbal communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, balancing tasks and priorities
Follow instructions and policies consistently
Energetic, ready to learn, loves fresh food
Flexible schedule
Dependable, reliable, trustworthy
Must obtain Food Manager’s certification shortly after starting
Work Conditions & Hours
Typical shifts: mornings 7 am‑4 pm, evenings 4 pm‑10 pm; weekends as applicable
Holidays closed: Thanksgiving, Christmas

Lifting/carrying up to 30 lb
