IET Corp is a leader in the installation and integration of low-voltage systems, specializing in telecommunications, electronic security, and AV solutions. We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Technician to help install, configure, and troubleshoot our systems in a variety of commercial and industrial settings. Job Responsibilities:
Install, terminate, and test structured cabling, including Cat5e, Cat6, fiber optic, and coaxial cables. Program, configure, and troubleshoot security, access control, CCTV, and AV systems. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation. Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality. Ensure work meets industry standards and client specifications. Work closely superintendent, leads and other team members to complete installations efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized job site. Provide basic customer training and support as needed. Requirements:
2+ years of experience in low voltage systems, telecommunications, security, or AV. Knowledge of cable installation, termination, and testing. Experience with access control, intrusion detection, surveillance systems, or AV equipment . Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces as needed. Certifications such as BICSI, OSHA 10/30, or manufacturer-specific training are a plus. Valid drivers license and reliable transportation. Compensation and Benefits:
