JOB SUMMARY JOB SUMMARY

The Marketing Content Specialist, with a focus on videography and photography, will be responsible for creating visual content for various platforms to support marketing and communications strategies. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, storytelling skills and a passion for creating engaging brand narratives.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the marketing team to plan visual content that aligns with brand objectives and audience preferences.

Propose creative ideas for visual content to achieve campaign goals.

Identify opportunities for multimedia content to support strategies and enhance brand awareness.

Content Creation, Editing, and Proofreading:

Plan, shoot and edit high-quality video content.

Develop scripts, conduct interviews and capture additional footage (b‑roll).

Operate and maintain video equipment.

Edit videos using software like Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Premiere, and Adobe After Effects.

Ensure videos meet brand standards before publishing.

Coordinate and capture high-quality photos for various platforms and marketing materials staying true to the organization’s brand standards.

Produce both studio and lifestyle outdoor photography.

Maintain photography equipment.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work effectively within the marketing team and collaborate with designers, writers and other stakeholders.

Communicate with clients and stakeholders to set up shoots and ensure project requirements are met.

Asset Management and Optimization:

Manage photography and video archives, including a digital photography database.

Analyze existing content and suggest improvements.

Ensure content is on-brand and optimized for various platforms.

Event Coverage:

Attend and cover events as appropriate with photography and videography services.

Ensure that all significant moments of the event are captured through high-quality photos and videos, coordinating with key stakeholders, setting up necessary equipment and overseeing the editing and distribution of the final media content.

Other Duties:

Stay updated on industry trends and technologies.

Assist with other visual communications media as needed.

Manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Participate in the department’s on-call schedule for media and reputation monitoring.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's Degree Marketing, business, or a related field. Required

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent in lieu of the Bachelor degree willing to conisder HS Diploma with 8 years of experience beyond the requireed minimum. Required

Licenses and Certifications

Work Experience

1-3 years. Must have 3 years of experience and proficiency in video production and photography, video editing, social media content development, social media platforms and content management tool.. Required

1-3 years. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite. Required

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Excellent written and verbal communication required

Maintains working knowledge of skills and current technology; required

Ability to exercise independent judgment in a professional area

Ability to work well with multiple physician disciplines

Must be able to organize multiple tasks

Must maintain control of work flow

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Skilled in conveying narratives through visual media
