We are seeking a dedicated
Outpatient Therapist
to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals experiencing
mental health and substance use disorders
in an outpatient setting and be committed to providing high-quality, client-centered care. This role requires availability for 2 evening/weekend shifts per week. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments
to evaluate clients' behavioral health needs, including mental health diagnoses, substance use history, and psychosocial factors. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
based on client goals, clinical assessments, and evidence-based practices. Provide individual, group, and family therapy
utilizing modalities such as
CBT, DBT, MI, IFS, ACT, and trauma-informed care. Facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic groups
focusing on mental health, coping strategies, relapse prevention, emotional regulation, and overall well-being. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team , including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, case managers, and peer support specialists, to ensure
integrated and holistic
client care. Conduct crisis intervention and risk assessments
as needed, providing appropriate safety planning, referrals, and crisis resources. Maintain accurate clinical documentation , including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, in compliance with state and agency policies. Participate in case conferences, treatment team meetings, and clinical supervision
to enhance client care and contribute to program development. Stay informed on best practices, research, and evolving treatment modalities
by engaging in continuing education and professional development activities. Support clients through transitions in care , including step-up or step-down in treatment levels, ensuring a smooth process with appropriate planning. Qualifications Active Tennessee licensure
as an
LCSW, LPC, LMFT , or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of experience
providing therapy to individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders in an
outpatient
or similar setting. Strong understanding of
evidence-based treatment modalities
for mental health, substance use, and trauma. Excellent clinical skills, including
assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions
using a client-centered approach. Experience with higher levels of care (PHP, IOP)
and the ability to tailor treatment accordingly. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build
therapeutic alliances and engage diverse populations . Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
and clinical documentation practices. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with
specialized populations , such as trauma survivors, veterans, or adolescents. Training in
holistic or wellness-based therapies
(e.g., mindfulness, yoga, nutrition-based mental health approaches). Experience developing
